Proposal: Update Our P&P Manual

We are experiencing first-hand major changes around the globe and in our own business operations at home.

As we anticipate a new home and increasingly bridge the tech divide between high touch and high tech worlds, it's time for us to update our P&P Manual to ensure our clients  communicate with maximum power and presence!

The Issue

Problem Defined

Change happens around us and to us and our clients. We need to update our P&P Manual to reflect changes in:  our business model, new location, new technologies, new clients, and new relationships at and around The TAI Group.  Updating our manual will help us help our clients achieve maximum power and presence.

THE TAI GROUP  “You said this program was going to make us better speakers, but what you didn’t tell me was how this is uniquely relevant to every aspect of our business,” said an early client George.

This crucial insight opened our eyes to the impact we could have across business sectors. It also prompted our specific focus on the challenges of leadership and team effectiveness. That focus, as it broadened into larger-scale consulting engagements, resulted in us seeking other tools and approaches, including diagnostics and assessments, which increase the impact of our work. Now, that work encompasses consulting, developmental programs and training with a wide range of businesses and institutions worldwide. As the pace of the digital age has increased we have also developed capabilities to develop and deliver messages across a broad spectrum of channels. This broadening of the scope and impact of our work has also led to changes in our own organization.

Shall we add a section on getting participant feedback on the sessions? Maybe even add in a copy of an evaluation form--and then use that information for our own continued learning and refining of the craft?

I took another look at our own assessment materials we use for clients--LEADERSHIP and COMMUNICATION document, this time with an eye toward self-assessment. We might wish to look at these updating the manual, so they have been added to the online repository below in the GO DEEPER section.

Great idea, Deb! And then, how about adding in the other citations from some of the other psychologists and experts referenced in the Manual?

As I evaluate this document, I'm thinking about a variety of ways in which my clients could benefit if I incorporated this tool from TheChisel to enhance the work I'm providing my clients.

Could you please add "Origins of the Impact Equation" by UCLA's Dr. Alfred Mehrabian to the repository here either as a link or a pdf?

We might also want to create a repository of our best handouts for clients or internal use now that we won't have Lou's Library readily available!

Do we want to include a section for selling follow-on work?

Just as we want our clients to breathe and have space to be themselves, how about reformatting the document with more space? Aesthetically, many of the pages are very dense with text and difficult to penetrable.
